My name is Jane Hester and I live and work in the beautiful county of Somerset, in England. I make colourful and decorative fused glass bowls, display pieces and jewellery and you will see from this website that colour and pattern are at the heart of my work.

My glass fusing journey started over fifteen years ago when I enrolled on a glass fusing workshop. Since then I have attended several masterclasses and workshops to enhance my knowledge and learn new techniques and although mostly self-taught I strive to produce pieces of colour and quality that I hope people will appreciate and enjoy.

Assembling and fusing (melting) glass is fascinating and fun. I enjoy creating unique patterns and effects that I hope reflect my creative ability and love of colour. All glass pieces are individually designed, created, cut and finished by me in my home workshop. I am a member of The Contemporary Glass Society and have a regular display of my work for sale at Yandles (Gift & Home), Martock, Somerset and SouSouWest Gallery, Symondsbury Estate, Symondsbury, Dorset. I also enjoy attending local Handmade Craft markets in Somerset and Dorset.
